Saxis Point is a historical fishing village located just five miles past Tall Pines Harbor Campground on Rt. 695.  In 2001, the town of Saxis completed a major project of building and dedicating a public fishing pier shown in the pictures here.  If you’re not getting a bite from the Tall Pines Harbor pier, jump in your car and give Saxis Point a try.   Saxis also has a free public boat ramp at their marina.
